The Hezekiah Movement is great for the community of Baltimore City. The Thursday night spiritual meetings are helping me to comprehend where I have been and where I am going on my journey in recovery. I always get a message from Fr. Joe's readings and tapes on Thursday nights and all of it has been a great inspiration to me. At the end of every meeting, I feel that my foundation of recovery has become stronger.

I came to Hezekiah because I find what I haven't ever had before: a stable place to be with connections in a family like setting. I notice growth in myself; socializing more with others and changing my lifestyle for the better, including prayer and a better work ethic. It's different here from other places; they really care here. They have lots of patience and always have time for me individually.

My life as an addict was a downward spiral. This place provided hope in abundance. As I grew healthier spiritually, I began to see healthier relationships in my family life. Not only did I have an opportunity to recover, but also to grow, heal, and offer this healing process to my daughter.
